Germany: Neuss Schützenfest

On Tuesday I got three postcards: one from Germany, one from Belgium and one from Japan.

The card from Germany shows the Neuss Schützenfest. The Neuss Schützenfest is held every year on the last weekend in August. It was first held in 1823 and is regarded as the largest marksmen's festival in the World that is organized by a single association. The Marksmanship in Germany is since 2015 a part of the German Nationwide Inventory of Intangible Cultural Heritage.

Stamp:
Water Lily (issued 11-05-2017)

Thank You very much Marcel!
