Spain: Cybele Palace in Madrid

On Friday I got two postcards: one from Spain and one from Japan.

The card from Spain shows the Cybele Palace in Madrid. The Cybele Palace is one of the most famous sights of Madrid. It was opened in 1919 as headquarters of the Spanish postal and telecommunications service, but since 2007 it houses the City Council.

EDIT: As part of the Paseo del Prado and Buen Retiro, a landscape of Arts and Sciences this is since 2021 on the UNESCO World Heritage List.

Stamp:
King Felipe VI (from set of six) (issued 02-01-2016)

Thank You very much Marcel!
