Germany: Siemensstadt Housing Estate

On Tuesday I got three postcards from Germany.

One of them shows the Siemensstadt Housing Estate in Berlin. The Siemensstadt Housing Estate was built between 1929 and 1931 in the style of the Neues Bauen by seven famous architects including Hans Scharoun and Walter Gropius and was used as worker housing for Siemens' nearby electrical factory. As one of the Berlin Modernism Housing Estates it is since 2008 on the UNESCO World Heritage List.

The card was signed during the Postcrossing Meet-up in Berlin.
Stamp:
100th birthday of Heinz Sielmann (issued 08-06-2017)

Thank You very much Hanko!
