India: Valley of Flowers National Park

Today I got two postcards: one from India and one from Germany.

The card from India shows the Valley of Flowers National Park. The Valley of Flowers National Park is a national park in the Indian State of Uttarakhand. It was established in 1982. It is known for its meadows of endemic flowers and as home of endangered animals. The Valley of Flowers and Nanda Devi National Parks are since 1988 on the UNESCO World Heritage List.

Thank You very much Raghavendra!
