Germany: Advent Market in Marburg

Yesterday I got five postcards: three from Germany, one from Japan and one from Indonesia.

One of the cards from Germany shows the Advent Market in front of Marburg's town hall. Marburg is a town in the German State of Hesse and is the eighth largest town of its state. The university in Marburg was founded in 1527. The town hall is located in the old town of Marburg and was built between 1512 and 1513. During the Christmas time it houses a exhibition of cribs. The Advent Market  is one of the two Christmas markets in Marburg. It offers many booths with food and a big wheel.
