Germany: Heidschnucken

Today I got three postcards: two from Germany and one from Singapore.

One of the German cards shows a flock of Heidschnucken. The Heidschnucke is a type of moorland sheep from Northern Germany. Its main breeding area is the Lüneburg Heath in Lower Saxony, but because it is easy to look after and due to its meat it is today found all over Europe.

The card was sent from the Postcrossing Meet-up in the Lüneburg Heath.
Stamp:
Chiemsee (from set of two) (issued 01-07-2015)

Thank You very much Sandra!
