Germany: Wilhelm Busch Museum

Today I got two postcards: one from Germany and one from the USA.

The card from Germany is from the Wilhelm Busch Museum in Hanover. The Wilhelm Busch Museum opened in 1937 and after some moves it is now located in the Georgenpalais in the Herrenhausen Gardens. The museum houses the World's largest collection of works by Wilhelm Busch and also other collections about other artists of satirical art. The card shows Teacher Lämpel from the fourth prank in Max and Moritz, the most famous book of Wilhelm Busch.
I bought this card when I recently visited the Wilhelm Busch Museum.

With a nice matching stamp:
Lifelong Learning (issued 09-08-2001)
with a special postmark showing Max and Moritz

At the museum I also bought a postcard showing a photo of Wilhelm Busch taken around 1877.

All the other cards I bought at the museum show illustrations from Wilhelm Busch's works. Two of them show Widow Bolte from the second prank of Max and Moritz.

The other two show Hans Huckebein and Pious Helene.
