Spain: Santiago de Compostela Cathedral

Today I got three postcards: one from Spain and two from Germany.

The card from Spain shows the Santiago de Compostela Cathedral in the Old Town of Santiago de Compostela. The Santiago de Compostela Cathedral was built from 1075 to 1211. It is a place of pilgrimage on the Way of St. James and also the burial place of St. James the Great. Since 1985 is the Old Town of Santiago de Compostela on the UNESCO World Heritage List.

Stamp:
Christmas (from set of two) (issued 06-11-2013)

Thank You very much Keiko!
