Germany: Brunswick Palace

Today I got seven postcards: four from Germany, one from Australia, one from the Åland Islands and one from Guernsey.

One of the cards from Germany shows the Brunswick Palace in Braunschweig at Christmas time. The Brunswick Palace was from 1753 to 1918 the residence of the Brunswick Dukes. After it was damaged during World War II it was demolished in 1960. From 2005 to 2007 it was rebuilt and now it contains a shopping centre.
I sent this card to myself to get a special postmark.

Stamp:
Snowman (issued 03-11-2014)
with a special postmark of this year's Christmas Market in Braunschweig
