Brazil: Brasilia

Today I got two postcards: one from Brazil and one from Hong Kong.

The card from Brazil shows the Panteão da Pátria e da Liberdade Tancredo Neves and the monument Dos Candangos in Brasilia. Brasilia was founded in 1960 and was built from 1956 onwards by Lúcio Costa and Oscar Niemeyer to serve as Brazil's new capital after Rio de Janeiro. The city is shaped like a bird in flight. Since 1987 is Brasilia on the UNESCO World Heritage List.

With great stamps:
Definitive
Prehistoric Animals (from set of four) (issued 12-10-2014)
Sesquicentenary of the Presbyterian Church (issued 12-01-2012)
On the stamp digital illustration technique was used creating an effect of glass.

Thank You very much Silvia!
