Austria: Schönbrunn Palace and Gardens

Today I got three postcards: two from my recent trip to Vienna and one from Hong Kong.

One of the cards from Vienna shows again the Schönbrunn Palace. Schönbrunn Palace is a great destination to visit. Luckily we bought the tickets online and therefore we were able to go inside at our chosen time. After going through all the state apartments and buying some cards from their big offer we also visit the great garden.

With a matching stamp:
Schönbrunn Palace (issued 19-03-2014)

I also bought some other cards I took back home unwritten.
Four of them show the state apartments. The first one shows the Billiard Room, the second one shows the Equestrian Room with the Marshals Table, the third one shows the Great Gallery and the fourth one shows the State Bed of Maria Theresia and Franz Stephan.

Other three cards show persons connected to Schönbrunn Palace. The first one shows Maria Theresia, the second one shows Empress Elisabeth "Sisi" and the third one shows the son of Napoleon, the Duke of Reichstadt, with his bird.

From the maze I also bought two cards. It was great to go for the first time through a real maze.

The last card shows the Gloriette. Unfortunately we had not enough time to visit also to Gloriette.

The Palace and the Gardens of Schönbrunn and even the zoo are since 1996 on the UNESCO World Heritage List.
