Uzbekistan: Tashkent

Today I got two postcard from new countries: one from Uzbekistan and one from the Philippines.

Uzbekistan is a country in Central Asia bordering on Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan, Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan. Until 1991 Uzbekistan was a part of the Soviet Union.

The card shows the Bank Association in Tashkent. Tashkent is the capital city and most populous city of Uzbekistan.

With matching stamp:
Definitives (from set of seven) (issued 05-04-2012)
The stamps show the equestrian statue of Amir Temur.
43rd Annual Session of Bank of Development (from set of thirty-eight) (issued 15-04-2010)

Thank You very much Igor!
